What Would Your Perfect Work Situation Look Like?

In our last post, we talked about 3 numbers to know, so you can be a better, smarter business owner, and feel in control of where you business is going (or not going).

If you haven't read it yet, hop on over and do that. Go ahead. It's a quick read. I'll wait.

Excellent, now we're all on the same page.

Think on where you want those numbers to be in 6 months. Or a year.

Do you want to work more? Or less?

Do you want to make more money? By working more, or by lowering your expenses, or by creating a passive income stream?

Now that you have that information in hand, the next steps are pretty fun. You get to imagine what happens next.

What would your perfect work situation look like?

It seems weird to say "Do you want to work more?" But if your schedule isn't full and you want more clients, ultimately, you want to work more.

You don't have to get all intense about goals (yet). But get a few rough ideas in your head.

What kicked your butt this year?

What do you need to change so you feel good about your work and your business?

This doesn't need to be all about business, either. Maybe you've been bored or stagnant in your hands-on work. Maybe you're just a little lonely and could use a few more colleagues to talk to. Or your massage room is dull and cluttered. Or you want to have breakfast or dinner with your family more often.

In this ideal world, how the files would be arranged, the office would look, your clients would feel.

Jot a few keywords down, so you remember this when the new year begins in 2 weeks and we buckle down with some serious planning.

But for now, baby steps. Fun imagining. What did you come up with? Share in the comments!
